To try to weave and dance through the troubles of the day.
To shadow box with my memories.
To write like my feet are on fire.
To not be afraid to take a punch.
To encourage others in their respective endeavors.
To remain thick-skinned and bone-tired.
To keep my teeth sharp and my heart soft.
To steer clear of cheap rhyme.
To remember that the symbol IS the message
To pick a fight every day
                           To see the world through the eyes of others.
