Hey Grant,
Just got through reading your bio and was very impressed. Sent you a message via myspace about your florida state song. Bought your CD at CDbaby and realized this song was not on there. Thats Okay I love the samples of the others. Would like to have a copy of the state song to give to Pete Gallaghar who hosts the Florida Folk Show at community radio in Tampa Bay WMNF. You may be familiar with 88.5 and he may already have your CD, but I have checked the playlists and have not seen any recent plays. Keep in touch and let me know where your playin'. I may take a trip your way some time. Anyways would love to talk about some ideas I have for helping the State besides Home Town Democracy.
Peace on and offshore,
Scotty Lee

Wondering if you ever recorded "Road to Damascus"? It would bring back good memories for me of the fall of 1989, singing during the Orlando Lions days.

Grant, An old college friend of yours "PO" turned me on to your site. I met you a time or two at Happy App and I was wondering: How come you ain't got your wife's picture on your site? She was some kind of pretty back then and I bet she can still attract a crowd should you need one.I understand "stick leggs" himself will be visiting you soon. He's done with the peroxide look and last I saw him he was in tip-top shape. You all have fun.

Forgot to mention that there are so many prarie dogs out here, they suck them out of the ground with vaccum machines for "relocation" when new suburbs are built. Suck that prarie dog out and pour some cement!

Enjoyed your site and reading comments others made. Guess Sop is Sopchoppy--what a hoot. Any songs about the heat, no-see-ums, and spring fed rivers? Plenty of rain and prarie dogs here in Colorado.

does this create the intrinsic value to the old cassettes I have of you singing? How do I classify those on Craig's List? Alternative Country....?? I thought that was how we described the anchorage off Dinner Key in the 70's and 80's...It was "alternative country" for sure!
